Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
1. Try before you pay
Every account starts with a 7-day free trial that requires no credit card, so you can evaluate the full workflow — research, tour generation, editing and pitching — before spending anything. Because of this, our default policy is that subscription payments are not refunded once a billing period has started, except in the cases below.
2. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time — no notice period, no cancellation fee.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period (monthly or yearly). You keep full access to your plan until that date and are not charged again.
- Cancelling does not delete your account: your tours and data remain, and premium features simply pause when the paid period ends. You can reactivate before the period ends to continue uninterrupted.
To cancel, go to Dashboard → Billing and use the manage-subscription option, which opens the Stripe customer portal.
3. When we do refund
We will refund payments in these cases:
- Duplicate charges or billing errors on our side.
- You were charged after cancelling in time (for example, a renewal that should not have happened).
- An extended service outage prevented you from using the service for a substantial part of the period you paid for.
- Any case where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law.
Outside those cases, refunds are at our discretion. If you subscribed and genuinely used almost nothing, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will look at it case by case — we would rather fix a bad experience than keep a payment you regret.
4. Credit packs
AI credit packs are one-time purchases. Purchased credits never expire, so an unused pack keeps its full value for as long as you keep your account. Once any credits from a pack have been spent, the purchase is non-refundable. If you bought a pack by mistake and have not used any of its credits, contact us within 14 days of purchase.
5. Yearly plans
Yearly subscriptions follow the same rules: cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the year you paid for. Yearly plans are discounted in exchange for the longer commitment, so partial-year refunds are not standard — but the discretionary 14-day window in section 3 applies to the first charge of a yearly plan too.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically over several days. During that time your account may be marked past due, and if payment cannot be collected the subscription ends and premium features pause. Your data is not deleted.
7. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method, in USD. Depending on your bank, the money typically appears within 5–10 business days.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — most billing issues can be resolved faster with a direct refund. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, including Mexican consumer law and the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
